ABOUT ME

Liam Sullivan is a fashion editorial and creative portrait photographer based in Chicago.

Currently, in the final stages of his senior year at Columbia College Chicago, Liam is best known for his use of vibrant color in light painting portraiture and his sharp attention to detail. 

 

Born and raised in Chicago, the city has served as a constant source of inspiration. Throughout high school, Liam spent much of his time scouting for stunning locations and orchestrating elaborate photoshoots with his friends. His time in high school culminated in a year-long personal study project on photography, which he presented to his entire school and encapsulated in a beautifully designed and printed photo book.

 

Liam continued to pursue his talent for photography attending Columbia College Chicago where he studied under industry professionals. In his classes, Liam cultivated his craft by developing skills in technique, project design & execution, business, graphic design, branding, event planing and marketing. 

 

Liam is creative, dedicated to his work, and quite adept at thinking on the spot and pivoting to new ideas when problems arise. He is always on the lookout for challenges and new opportunities to dive into. 

 

When Liam isn’t destroying his back posture from endless hours of editing, he spends much of his time playing on his volleyball team. He also loves painting, bartending, interior design, and putting together playlists.

Liam most recently debuted his project "Queens Court" that highlighted talented drag queens of Chicago’s Boystown. He presented his body of work at a venue for an “End of Year” show before the holidays. In the spring, Liam intends to take on an internship at Select Model Management before graduating from Columbia.
